Meet our professional team
GLKAcademies has been running for just over three years, the growth in the soccer schools has been amazing. Having started with running 1 after-school club and we are now in eleven schools throughout the county. We run our own 'holiday clubs' and have 'Elite skills' training for children on a Saturday.
You can also find us taking the pre-season training for both the First team and Reserves at Blisworth Football Club
All GLKAcademies Coaches are level 2 or above, members of FACA and all are CRB checked.
They all have Emergency Aid training and have their Child Protection Certificate.
GLKAcademies Coaches are from a variety of clubs including Arsenal, MkDons, Northampton Town, Oxford United and Norwich City.

This child kept banging on my door for a trial. Then one night the desicion was made
and rang Trevor Gould, who was the first team coach at Coventry for nine years, now a Director at Northampton Town Football Academies.
He told me to bring him down to a trial. Greg is playing for the youth team and training with the first team, He's also now working for GLKSoccer Academies in his holidays
and Saturday mornings.
Gregs Letter:
'I knocked on Gavin Kellys door, the coach at GLK Soccer Academies all summer asking him to get me a trial at the Cobblers. Then eventually he spoke to Trevor Gould who then got me a trial at Moulton College, now I am playing in the youth side at Northampton Town. Plus I would like to thank Gavin Kelly for all his time and effort and now I am working with GLK on Saturday mornings and Holiday Club.'
